I found a tin of water soluable oil pastels, and have been making little drawings on canvas. I plan to stitch into the drawings, and make 4 x 6 postcards or maybe just framed pieces. I think by using canvas, I won't have to use stabilizer to stitch. I love the way they work on the unprimed canvas. I'll upload photos as I finish them. I may have to look for more colors!

Carol - this looks like a neat idea - do you mean actual stiching with thread/wool-by machine or hand??
